Trips 'n Toys: Guided Tours

Since we do spend so much time on the road, it's rare that we find ourselves participating in a Summer Reading Program at a local library.

This year, our schedule was a bit slower than in summers past, so we actually "Library Hopped" to a few different libraries throughout the region.

This particular set of pictures is from a library hosting a Hero Themed Program, in which they focused more along the lines of recognizing and respecting our community heroes.

Another library, which I hope to add photos of soon, focused their Hero theme on Super Heroes, past and present, and with each super power they hosted some really cool hands on science activities.

Exotic travel is definitely fun, but sometimes, hanging out a little closer to home and participating in local communities can also yield valuable experiences and fun memories!
