This momma has a soft spot for hard rock music. I've been to well over 1,200 rock concerts in my time. For the most part, the kids don't share my passion for the harder music, but we do love an opportunity where I can share my music with the kids in a safer environment that is a little more kid-appropriate than the standard bar scene or overwhelming outdoor festival.
This particular event was Black Stone Cherry's album release party for Between the Devil & the Deep Blue Sea. They put on an acoustic performance and then signed autographs and took pictures.
It was a hot day in Kentucky, but a lot of fun for everyone!
If you like rock music and haven't seen these guys live, DO IT!
The vocals are amazing, the drummer is intense, and both guitar players put on a performance like nothing you've seen before. Black Stone Cherry is one of the most under-rated bands on the music scene. They are definitely a performance you WON'T forget!
