A textbook example of too many domesticated animals being released into the wild, until they themselves become a wild, albeit invasive, species.
In other words, in the Florida Keys there are iguanas EVERYWHERE!
I don't recall it being like this when I frequented the area before I had kids, but you definitely can't miss them now.
Thankfully for us, they make GREAT photographic subjects. This first photo has been one of my favorites for a while. If you get a chance, watch these guys. You'd be surprised at just how fast they run!
